WORK? - This Water Purifiers Water Distillers
use steam distillation and carbon filtration. They remove up to 99%+ of most
tap water impurities.
The process of Distillation is easy to understand and is as old as the Sun: (1) Ordinary tap water is heated and boiled to 212 degrees F. , killing bacteria, cysts and virus that may be present. (2) The steam rises leaving behind dissolved solids, salts, and other substances and impurities. (3) The steam is condensed and then (4) percolates through a Carbon Filter to polish the distilled water. The purified distilled water is collected in the included one gallon serving / storage container! |

That was until I made my first gallon of distilled water with your water purifier. Let me simply say, I could not beleive there was so much gunk in the water. The residue that was left in the distiller tank simply amazes me and I still find it hard to beleive that it was in the water, the water I use to drink! Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for a product that I simply will use over and over again." "P.S. The distiller cleaner cleans the gunk out great!" - (This is just one of many E-Mails we receive about our Water Distiller.) Other common questions we receive: (Answers may not be appropriate for other water distillers.) (Q) Do I really need to use the carbon filters if I use Well Water? - (A) If the Well Water is not chlorinated you do not have to use the carbon filters. If you have very bad well water we would suggest still using them. (Q) I would rather not use the distiller cleaner because I do not like to use chemicals. Is there any other way to remove the buildup of minerals and stuff left inside the distiller tank? - (A) Sure, use distilled Vinegar. Pour vinegar in the tank, enough to submerge all buildup in vinegar, and let it sit over night. You'll have a clean tank the next morning! Vinegar works just as well as distiller cleaner but it takes a longer time to disolve the buildup. |
